FUNDRAISING STORYMy name is Binta, and I am raising funds for my brother, Yunusa Ekele Odoma, a 40-year-old man whose life changed suddenly after a tragic accident.In April, Yunusa was involved in a serious accident where his arm was crushed by a trailer. He was rushed to the hospital, where doctors performed skin grafting in an attempt to save his hand and prevent amputation. While the procedure helped preserve the limb, the recovery has been extremely difficult.It has now been several months, and the wound has not healed properly. The skin grafting is taking far longer than expected to heal, and unfortunately, the surgery on his hand was not successful. Yunusa continues to experience pain, limited use of his arm, and ongoing medical complications.Since April, our family has spent a large and untracked amount of money on hospital bills, medications, dressings, and repeated treatments. Despite all this, his condition has not improved as hoped.Doctors have advised that Yunusa needs to be seen at a more specialized hospital that handles complex trauma and reconstructive cases like his. This will involve new consultations, possible corrective surgery, advanced wound care, and rehabilitation.
